A Dining table made from recycled timber and steel
Slanted legs and a solid plate of 4 cm-thick timber are the defining characteristics of the Valkenburg table; in conjunction with its smooth surface and clear, distinct edges.
The top of the table is made of recycled pine timber. It is sealed with organic hard wax oil. The latter cares and protects the wood while bringing out the patina.
The steel frame has been rust-sealed with organic oil, with delicate abrasive marks on the edges that give the table a discreet industrial character. Rusted-sealed steel is elegant, durable and corrosion resistant. With its tapered legs and appealingly-simple design, this table fits perfectly into a wide variety of styles and spaces: as a dining table in kitchens and living rooms, as a desk or conference table in office spaces.
As with all of our products, the VALKENBURG table is manufactured in collaboration with regional producers; in a way that’s as environmentally friendly as possible.
The product is individually customisable, as special requests can be made regarding dimensions and finishes. The model shown is 200 cm long, 90 cm wide and 74 cm high and features a rusted-sealed steel frame with delicate abrasive marks on the edges . However, all colours in the RAL pallet as well as other woods are available and can be requested.
