A sideboard made from recycled oak wood and steel
The VAALS sideboard, with its minimalist design of recycled oak combined with powder-coated steel, provides a restrained homely look in a variety of settings: storage with storage space in the bathroom or bedroom, hallway, living room or kitchen.
VAALS sideboard consists of a steel frame with skid feet made of 2 cm x 2 cm square steel tube in the color signal white (RAL 9003 ), into which an internal table top made of 2 cm thick, solid wood was integrated. The drawers are also made of recycled oak with exciting wood grain and can be opened by slight pressure via push-to-open function. To highlight the grain optimally, and to protect and care for the oak, it is treated several times with organic hard oil.
Despite the obvious front and back, VAALS is due to the open element without back wall as a room divider or as a freestanding piece of furniture in the room, which inspires by valued processing. The model can also act as a lowboard that can accommodate TV or decorative items.
As with all of our products, this piece of furniture is manufactured in co-operation with regional producers under as environmentally friendly conditions as possible.
